Following the nomination of the Health Service Executive, The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly T.D., has appointed Ms Patricia Byrne to the Board of the National Haemophilia Council with effect from 20th December 2022 until 19th December 2025.
Patricia is a Principal Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist at St James's Hospital, Dublin. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
She is a graduate of University College Dublin, and the Institute of Psychiatry, University College London. She has over 30 years’ experience, delivering Clinical Psychology services in the Irish healthcare system. In her current post she has a specific remit to provide evidence based psychological care to patients with Haemophilia.
