The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly T.D., has on the nomination by the President of Tallaght Hospital appointed Ms Darina Barrett to the Board of Tallaght Hospital with effect from 1st January 2023 until 31st December 2025.
Ms. Barrett has been an audit partner in KPMG since 1999 and has over 33 years of experience in audit and financial reporting. She currently leads the quality practice for KPMG's assurance function. Prior to that she held a number of other key management roles in the global and local financial sector. She joined the audit committee of TUH in 2020.
Ms. Barrett is also a board member of EMA OPP Limited and the Sports Federation of Ireland Limited. She is an advocate for inclusion and diversity and works with the 30% Club to further these goals.
