We would like your views on legislation in relation to the sale of tobacco products and non-medicinal nicotine delivery systems (NMNDS), including e-cigarettes.
The details of the measures are set out in our consultation paper below.

The closing date for views is Friday, 16 January 2015. The online survey will be open until midnight on that day. Responses postmarked the closing date will be accepted. We can accept hand-delivered responses up to close of business on that date.
Late or anonymous submissions will not be accepted.
A consultation report will be prepared and we will publish this on our website.
All submissions received by the department are subject to the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and may be released in response to an FOI request. We publish responses to FOI requests online.
Personally identifiable information supplied by an applicant to the Department of Health will be held in accordance with Data Protection Act 1988, and the Data Protection Amendment Act, 2003. The department will keep it only for explicit and legitimate purposes, process it only in ways compatible with the purposes for which it was given to the department initially, keep it safe and secure, and retain it no longer than is necessary for the specified purpose or purposes.
