Goods and services that this framework agreement offers

This framework agreement provides a range of cleaning, paper, personal hygiene and period products, including:

  • Cleaning Supplies;
  • Paper Hygiene Products;
  • Personal Hygiene Products;
  • Floor Cleaning Products;
  • Kitchen Cleaning Products;
  • Laundry Cleaning Chemical Products;
  • Housekeeping Products;
  • Washroom Products;
  • Waste Disposal Products, i.e. refuse sacks;
  • Period Equality Products.

Green and social considerations

In the performance of any Client Contract activated in accordance with clause 23 of the Framework Contract, the successful Tenderer(s) and their Subcontractors (if any), shall be required to comply with all applicable obligations in the field of environmental, social and labour law that apply at the place where the goods are supplied, that have been established by EU law, national law, collective agreements or by international, environmental, social and labour law listed in Schedule 7 of the Regulations.

Inclusion of environmental question in award criteria, vehicle emissions, ISO 14001 or equivalent, use of eco label products, inclusion of concentrate products, end of life process (recycling) for products supplied, including dispensers, paper waste collection and recycling, virgin paper products must have FSC or equivalent, recycled paper must have necessary environmental certs, compliance with REACH, CLP.

  • Supply chain product mapping to include supplier selection and audit protocols
  • Waste reduction and management
  • Reduce, reuse, recycle initiatives
  • Support and promotion of sustainable products
  • Conform with GPP criteria, 11 out of 14 applicable core criteria used
  • Initiatives to reduce delivered miles
  • Accessibility to period equality products
  • Management reports to include supplier performance and quantity of green criteria-compliant products purchased

All eligible public sector bodies.


How to use this framework agreement

Goods from this framework agreement can be accessed via direct drawdown.Drawdowns from this framework agreement will be conducted through direct drawdown.

Where Direct Drawdown is available you must copy the Notification to Activate Goods/Services Form (NAGF or NASF) onto your own headed paper and complete accordingly.

Once you have completed this, it must be sent to the Framework Memberr.

The Framework Member will counter sign and return it to you. The Framework Member will then contact you to determine requirements. To get started please see the User Guide which is available on the Buyer Zone.

Expiry May 31 2026

Contract extensions may be available for this arrangement; please check the Buyer Zone or contact support@ogp.gov.ie for further information. Specifically, if you are concerned that the expiry date will have an impact on your requirements.
