Access to the old eTenders website has been extended

Access to the old eTenders website was scheduled to end in May 2024. Contracting Authorities had been asked to close, archive and download their tender files in advance of this. Following stakeholder engagement and consultation, access to the old eTenders website has been extended. This change will support Contracting Authorities as they work to complete the archiving process. Public buyers now have until 31 January 2025 to close, archive and download their files on the old eTenders website.

After 31 January 2025, all tenders will be automatically moved to an Archive state and Public buyers will continue to have the option to Download their Archived files until 21 May 2025.

There are three key steps public buyers should take to retrieve data associated with past procurement competitions from the old eTenders website:

1. Close: Close any procurement competition on the old site that you want to retrieve data for.

2. Archive: Move closed competitions to the Archive area on the old eTenders site.

3. Download: Once a procurement competition has been closed and moved to the Archive area, download the Archive file to your designated local storage location.

Until 31 January 2025

• Contracting Authorities should continue to Close, Archive and Download their tender data in advance of 31 January 2025.

Post 31 January 2025

• EU Supply will automatically archive all open and closed tenders on the old website. The automated archiving process will not include any contract or additional documents, which will need to be archived manually in advance of the 31 January deadline.

• Public buyers will continue to have the option to Download their Archived files until 21 May 2025.

21 May 2025:

• User access to the old eTenders website will cease.

The automatic archiving process will happen after 31 January 2025. The automated archiving process will not archive any contract information from the contracting module. This will need to be archived manually in advance of the 31 January deadline.

Public buyers will continue to have the option to Download their Archived files until 21 May 2025.

Downloads will not be possible after 21 May 2025.
