The OPW has triumphed at the 2024 RIAI Architecture Awards, winning in three out of nine categories:
Tom Johnson House, the new headquarters of the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, took home the Workplace and Fitout Award and the Sustainability Award. This is an exemplary retrofit project that can be applied to other buildings in Ireland.
The Research Award also went to the OPW and Shaffrey Architects for their guidance document "Approaches to Improving the Energy Performance of Heritage Properties in State Care."
Congratulations to everyone involved in these groundbreaking and exciting projects!
