Diverse range of Culture Night events taking place at OPW heritage sites on Friday 20 September

Organised by the Arts Council, Culture Night celebrates all that makes up the richness and diversity of culture in Ireland today, connecting people to cultural activities in villages, towns, cities, villages and countryside late into the night.

This year, Culture Night aims to be even more inclusive, accessible and diverse while showcasing the best of both the traditional and evolving arts in Ireland.

The Office of Public Works will once again be involved in an evening of experiences and entertainment at a number of our historical heritage sites on Friday 20 September.

Culture Night encourages people to engage in a night of celebration, interacting with Ireland’s varied culture through music, performances, tours, talks, and more. A number of OPW heritage attractions will open later to the public on the evening of 20 September, allowing visitors to experience Ireland’s history through diverse events and to enjoy the sites through a new lens.

Rosemary Collier, Head of Heritage Services & Capital Works Delivery, said:

“It is wonderful to see such a diverse range of events that are taking place this Culture Night.
