Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in the Walled Garden, Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre

As part of the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann taking place in Drogheda from 12 - 19 August 2018, the OPW is proud to host a performance on Sunday 12 August from 12pm to 1pm in the Walled Garden, Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre by the C.E.O.L. band.
C.E.O.L. is comprised of young musicians from Comhaltas Ceoiltóiri Éireann together with project partners from the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, Northern Ireland and singers from Grupa Cheoil Turas with soloist Aoife ní Roideáin, who perform traditional music together as part of their shared musical heritage.
The event will be outdoors in the Walled Garden at Battle of the Boyne - Oldbridge House, so bring suitable attire, a blanket and so on. Chairs will not be provided.
Following on from the C.E.O.L. performance the Drogheda Brass Band will perform popular music from 2pm – 4pm.
Both performances are free of charge. Audience capacity will apply so will be on a first come first served basis.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not permitted in the Walled Garden.
