The Office of Public Works (OPW) would like to advise the public of a temporary closure of the Phoenix Park this week.
The OPW received a request from An Garda Síochána to close the Phoenix Park from 5pm on Wednesday, 12 April, to 5pm on Thursday, 13 April to facilitate the official visit by US President Joe Biden.
The OPW has agreed to this request. All gates, including pedestrian gates, will be closed during this 24-hour period.
Access will be provided to essential staff working within the Phoenix Park and arrangements will be confirmed in the coming days.
All roads and gates will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
