Parliamentary Counsel – Group 3

Responsible for the delivery, co-ordination and management of professional legislative drafting services by a group of specialist legislative drafters (Parliamentary Counsel) for the following Departments of State:

• Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine
• Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth
• Department of Justice
• Department of the Taoiseach

Brendan is a member of the Government Legislation Committee and attends meetings of the Committee with regard to legislative drafting work falling within his remit.
