Assistant Secretary, Personal Division

Responsible at Assistant Secretary level for Personal Division by implementing long-term and future strategic objectives for the Division. James is responsible for the management and development of service, self-assessment, personal taxes, compliance and audit functions. He is also responsible for managing entities with no trade or profession such as trusts, charities and sporting bodies and oversees Stamp Duty, Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) and Local Property Tax (LPT).

James’s brief also includes the co-ordination of Irish Language Services and he is a member of Revenue’s Management Advisory Committee (MAC).
