1. Provision of patentability opinions.
2. Drafting and filing of patent specifications for priority applications, and including short-term patent at Irish Patents office.
3. Drafting and filing of Irish, British, US or EPO (European Patent Office) priority applications.
4. Provision of timely reminders of patent deadlines.
5. Drafting and filing of PCT applications from priority specifications.
6. Patent search requesting and reporting, and drafting claim sets as required.
7. Drafting and filing of national/regional phase applications from PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) applications, including search and examination.
8. Patent management including renewals.
9. Various patent prosecution duties including office actions, and drafting/filing of responses, patent renewals and other examination requirements.
10. Attending to all grant formalities and EPO filing in all validated territories.

Intellectual Property firms have in the past offered their services for free in some capacity, although without perhaps recognising, where it is now a central tenet of Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) within IP firms. In recognition of the social value of the provision of these social value services, and to promote CSR, the Contracting Authority
requires that all Framework Members must offer a quantum of service free of charge per annum:
The commitment is to be in the form of committed hours to deliver Social Value Added Services as set out for every 100 Hours (Pro-Rata) of work received under this Framework.
Social Value Added Services can include the following:
1) Social Value Citizen Engagement Activities in the form of workshops, focus groups, seminars, conferences, web-based engagement, Citizens’ Panels on
intellectual property, to raise profile and awareness of IP, invention spotting workshops, IP networking opportunities.
2) Education/Youth Outreach Events with a focus on the Environment, Climate Change, Social inclusion.
Social Value added IP services includes services provided free of charge,:
(i) poor, disadvantaged and marginalised individuals and communities.
(ii) charitable and other non-profit organisations and social enterprises that work for them.

Drawdowns from this framework agreement will be conducted through mini-competition.
Process Steps:
1. Verify the value of the requirement and select appropriate Framework Lot.
2. Define requirements and specifications. Identify the Evaluation Award Criteria. Complete the SRFT Documentation
3. Return completed SRFT Documentation to the OGP.
4. Provide responses to any clarification queries received.
5. Conduct an evaluation process. Complete evaluation report. Approve and issue outcome letters.
6. Conclude contract with successful tenderer. Provide Contract Award Notice for publication
