The provision of equipment, collection, transportation, processing, recycling/disposal of Mixed Municipal Waste.
Note: the following are out of scope:
• Contracts valued at €25,000 or less over a two-year period per Contracting Authority
Please note that the following types of waste are NOT included within the scope of this RFT:
• Biohazardous Waste;
• Clinical waste;
• Nappy Bin Waste;
• Radioactive Waste;
• Sanitary Waste;
• Sludge;
• Tyres;
• Leachate.
Please note that the following services are NOT included within the scope of this RFT:
• Domestic collection services (where citizen/resident pays for service);
• Operation and management of Civic amenity sites;
• Shredding of Confidential Waste.
Please note that the following equipment (and servicing of the following equipment) is NOT included within the scope of this RFT:
• The management and operation of bottle banks;
• The management and operation of textile banks;
• End of life Vehicles;
• Pay-as-you-go receptacles.

Contract extensions may be available for this arrangement; please check the Buyer Zone or contact support@ogp.gov.ie for further information. Specifically, if you are concerned that the expiry date will have an impact on your requirements.
Drawdowns from this framework agreement will be conducted through “Supplementary Request for Tender” (SRFT) Mini-Competitions. The competition pool will be by reference to the Lot which the requirement falls.
On each occasion that you propose to award a Service Contract through Mini-Competition, you must choose whether you wish to avail of Self Serve or have OGP run the competition on your behalf.

An environmental question is included as part of the SRFT Qualitative Award Criteria.
Requirement for Framework Members to support the harmonization of bin colours
to comply with any new national standard.
Requirement for Framework Members to support the provision of a minimum of
the above three (3) bins to Framework Clients and comply with any new national
standard with regards to same.
Provision of food caddies is included within the scope of the Framework. Ceiling
rates for same agreed at Framework stage.
It is desirable that the Account Manager would have experience in implementing
environmental management measures in the context of waste collection services.
Management Information reports to include/sustainable/social initiatives
recommended per Framework Client.
