Governance Framework

Our Governance Framework aims to provide an overview on who we are, what we do and our mission and values. The preparation of the Framework comes from Action 3 of the Civil Service Renewal Plan. The Framework bases itself on a Corporate Governance Framework for the Civil Service issued by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform late in 2015.
Good governance is central to the effective operation of the department. It ensures that a framework of structures, policies and processes are in place to achieve these outcomes.
It is essential in:
- discharging our statutory and policy obligations
- achieving our objectives
- delivering our priorities efficiently and effectively
