DRCD is committed to the development and implementation of effective governance and control arrangements.
An Audit Committee was established in December 2017 and it is chaired by former Secretary General Mr Gerry Kearney with a majority of non-executive members. The Audit Committee Charter outlines the role, membership and function of the committee.
DRCD has also established an Internal Audit Unit within the department. The Internal Audit Unit Charter sets out the purpose, authority and responsibilities of this unit.
