The role of the Labour Market Advisory Council is to provide advice to the Minister for Social Protection and the government with regard to the efficient operation of the labour market with a particular view to increasing participation rates, minimising unemployment levels and reducing average unemployment durations.
Nigel Clarke is nominated as alternate for John Shaw, Mary McGarry is nominated as alternate for William Beausang, Shauna Dunlop is nominated as an alternate for Andrew Brownlee, Robert Scott is nominated as alternate for Jasmina Behan.
