The Education and Training Board (ETB) Apprentice and Learner Payments Service is part of the Education Shared Business Services (ESBS) and is based in the Liberty Centre Blanchardstown. The ESBS in conjunction with Access Payroll Providers provide payroll shared services to all 16 ETBs for Apprentices cohort, Wave 1 Learner payments & Wave 2 Learners (VTOS & Youthreach).
Apprentice payments went Live in March 2020, Cohort Wave 1 Learner payments went Live at the end of August 2020 and Cohort Wave 2 Learners (VTOS & Youthreach) went live end of February 2022.
In 2023 a total of 517,444 payments were processed to Apprentices & Learners totalling €166.6 million.
In total, since commencing, 1,325,844 payments have been made totalling almost €442.6 million.
A dedicated Apprentice & Learner Payments Helpdesk went Live on 17th May 2021. Specified ETB personnel are setup on the Helpdesk which has the following email address - https://appsandotherlearners.freshdesk.com/support/login
