Brian Sugrue was nominated for appointment to Parole Board by the Garda Commissioner in 2023.
He holds the rank of Chief Superintendent, and is a qualified Senior Investigating Officer (SIO). He holds an LLB, an MA in Human Rights in Criminal Justice, and an MA in Serious Crime Investigation. He has extensive experience in the investigation of serious crime.
