The results of the Civil Service Customer Satisfaction Survey 2017 were published on 5 April 2017. The survey was undertaken by Ipsos MRBI on behalf of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, following an open tender process. The purpose of the survey was to ascertain satisfaction levels with services received, as well as more general perceptions of, and attitudes to, the Civil Service.

Surveys of general public customers are carried out every two years which meets a commitment in the government’s Public Service Reform Plan 2014-2016 and in the Civil Service Renewal Plan to run regular surveys of Civil Service customers to more fully understand user experiences, expectations and requirements. The results of the Civil Service Customer Satisfaction Survey 2015 were published on 6 May 2015.
