The National Aviation Policy was launched by Minster Paschal Donohoe on 20 August 2015 and can be accessed here.
The process of developing the National Aviation Policy for Ireland commenced with a conference in December 2012. Following on from the conference an Issues Paper seeking submissions from interested parties was published by the department in February 2013 and subsequently a total of 74 submissions were received.
A draft National Aviation Policy was published in May 2014 taking account of these submissions. A further consultation period followed, during which more than 70 additional submissions were received. The final Policy document was developed taking account of the views expressed during both consultation phases.
