The OPW develops an extensive range of maps, hydrometric data resources and technical specifications and guidance notes that are available to assist our stakeholders and inform policy and planning.

OPWs national flood information portal, www.floodinfo.ie is providing location specific access to flood risk and flood management information, including the published Flood Plans along with the Flood Maps and the main Flood Relief Schemes underway or completed under the OPW flood relief capital works programme.
The OPW has prepared a number of technical specifications and guidance notes that it makes use of when commissioning work, such as the design of flood relief schemes and the preparation of flood maps.
