The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage has today (31 January 2025) published the Monthly Homeless Report for December 2024.
The Monthly Homeless Report for December 2024 records 14,864 individuals accessing emergency accommodation, a decrease of 335 (-2.2%) on November 2024.

The department has also published the Homeless Quarterly Progress Report for Quarter 4 2024. It records that a total of 8,893 adult preventions and exits have been achieved over the course of the year. This represents a 29.9% increase on the 6,848 adult preventions and exits achieved in 2023.
