The Office of Public Works (OPW) are delighted to announce the return of the ever-popular ‘Biophilia Tour’ to the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin this January 2025.
It is believed that humans have evolved to have an instinctive bond with nature, one which our increasingly urbanised life threatens to disrupt. Engage your senses in the Gardens’ beautiful surroundings, and learn about how and why spending time around nature and natural processes can help us stay healthy in our daily lives.
The tours take visitors on a guided walk where they can reconnect with nature. The tours take place every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the month of January. For more information please visit the National Botanic Gardens website.
OPW spokespersons are available for interview upon request to discuss this initiative. Please contact pressoffice@opw.ie for more information and to arrange an interview.
