The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) invites eligible Irish Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) to submit joint research proposals under the 2024 Green ERAHUB Call on “Crop and livestock farming to meet the challenges of climate change”.
The Call aims to bring together actors from across the entire food system in a multi-actor approach to contribute towards global food security by supporting projects that lead to methodological innovations enabling more sustainable and resilient crop and livestock systems in the light of climate change and/or contribute to its mitigation.
Applicants seeking grant-aid from DAFM can apply for funding under both of the scientific topic areas which include:
Topic 1. Improved resilience and health of crops
Topic 2. Livestock production and climate change
The Joint Call follows a two-step procedure that includes a pre-registration step followed by the full proposal submission.
The deadline for pre-registration is: 31st July 2024 at 12:00 h (CEST)
The deadline for the submission of proposals is the 9th September 2024 12:00 h (CEST)
