As part of the Economic Recovery Plan, the government has also announced details of Ireland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The National Recovery and Resilience Plan outlines how Ireland intends to utilise an initial allocation of €915 million in grants from the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility - Europe’s shared initiative to support economic and social recovery, and address green and digital issues, as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The National Recovery and Resilience Plan has been developed alongside, and reinforces the policies and approaches within, the government’s Economic Recovery Plan.
In line with EU regulatory requirements, the Commission has completed its evaluation of the Plan and made a positive recommendation to the Council of the European Union.
