This update of Ireland’s Stability Programme takes account of Budget 2020 and other government initiatives, and is prepared against the backdrop of the COVID-19 global pandemic. It includes an update of the economic and fiscal outlook (the Department of Finance’s spring forecasts).
The draft SPU was published on the 21st April and made available to the Oireachtas and the public for consultation. The final SPU was submitted to the European Council and Commission on the 30th April
