Bike Week is an annual celebration of all that is great about bikes and cycling. Held over an extended week each year, with bike-themed events organised by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout Ireland.
In 2022, Bike Week took place from 14-22 May with a variety of both in-person and online events held around the country. Bike Week 2023 will take place from 13-21 May 2023. European Mobility Week
European Mobility Week (EMW) is the European Commission’s flagship awareness-raising campaign on sustainable urban mobility. It promotes behavioural change in favour of active mobility, public transport and other clean, intelligent transport solutions. It is held annually in September, and the week culminates in the popular Car-Free Day each year.
Each European Mobility Week focuses on a particular topic related to sustainable mobility. EMW 2022 was held from 16-22 September on the theme of ‘Move Sustainably, Stay Healthy’.
