How to repay COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payments

If you have received a payment for the COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment and you were not entitled to it, you can refund the department in several different ways.

The preferred method of payment is by Debit Card.

To repay by debit card:

Lo-call 0818 927999 and press option 5 (Republic of Ireland only) or call (071) 9672591.

To repay directly to the department's Bank Account:
