On 29 July, 2020, the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment determined that an Appropriate Assessment (AA) is not required for the rig-site clearance survey. The AA Screening Determination can be located in the documents below:

The Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment, determined on 15 September, 2020 to consent, subject to certain conditions, to an application submitted by PSE Kinsale Energy Limited to undertake a rig-site clearance survey in 2020 using geophysical techniques.
