Arising from the Government’s decision in January 2019 for public bodies to stop using certain Single Use Plastics (SUPs), all Departments were also required to produce a Resource Efficiency Action Plan (REAP) setting out a range of actions specific to their organisations internal operations in response to the climate action challenge.
Attached in response is the Department’s first Resource Efficiency Action Plan (REAP).
This REAP covers the Green agenda across DBEI and its Offices collectively. It shows the progress to date in 2019 as well as articulating other actions that are planned for delivery in the second half of the year.
