The Department of Education has announced the opening of registration for the 2022 face-to-face Teacher Artist Partnership (TAP) continuous professional development Summer Course and Residency Programme for primary teachers, under the Creative Youth Programme.
TAP 2022 is a Department of Education-approved continuous professional development (CPD) summer course for teachers, and artists working in partnership in primary and special schools. The programme supports and enhances arts education in primary and special schools, to develop the creative potential of every child.
TAP provides teachers who complete the programme with the opportunity to host a fully funded TAP Artist Residency in their school in 2022/23. This Department of Education-led initiative is a highly innovative, creative and participant-responsive programme that promotes professional learning about working in partnership.
TAP CPD will be delivered face-to-face in 2022 and offers a free course with EPV day approval & opportunities for participating teachers to apply for a face-to-face in-school Residency in their school in 2022/2023 academic year.
The course runs from Monday 04 July – Friday 08 July inclusive.
