The Department of Rural and Community Development is inviting applications under the Small Capital Grants Scheme for Social Enterprises. The scheme, which is funded by the Dormant Accounts Fund, will provide grants of between €2,000 and €15,000 for equipment, repairs or refurbishments which will enable social enterprises to improve their service delivery.
The scheme is being administered on the department’s behalf by the network of Local Development Companies (LDCs) which are located throughout the country. Final decisions on funding will be made by the Department of Rural and Community Development.
Only social enterprises, as defined in the National Social Enterprise Policy, may apply under this scheme.
Applications must be made using the Application Form below.
The deadline for receipt of completed applications is 3pm on Monday, 11 November 2019. Applications should be made directly to a participating LDC. Applications sent directly to the Department of Rural and Community Development will not be considered. Contact details for the LDCs are available below.
