The SME and Entrepreneurship Taskforce is a commitment in the Programme for Government and was formed in order to design a National SME Growth Plan to map out an ambitious long-term strategic blueprint for SMEs and entrepreneurs beyond COVID-19.
The Taskforce is composed of a broad range of business people with expertise in a range of sectors, as well as SME representative groups and other individuals uniquely positioned to contribute to a long-term vision for the SME sector. The SME and Entrepreneurship Growth Plan was published in January of 2021 and the group is now focused on bringing forward the recommendations.
Expressions of interest are now being sought from suitably qualified persons with business sector expertise for consideration for appointment as members of the SME and Entrepreneurship Taskforce for a period of two years.

Applications from diverse, qualified candidates are welcomed and appointments shall have due regard to the desirability of diversity and balance on the Taskforce.
Expressions of interest should be sent to esbpu@enterprise.gov.ie and should include a short CV with an overview of relevant experience and positions.
Membership of the Taskforce shall be on a pro bono basis.
Expressions of interest must be submitted before 12pm on Wednesday, 19 April 2023.
