We are at a key transformational point in the health system, with Sláintecare and the Capacity
Review. Through improving our data reliability, we can help inform system planning, identifying opportunities for reform and investment that also release current capacity and that may not have long, capital intensive lead in times. Over time, it should also help to inform decisions regarding the additional capacity required in terms of the balance between in-patient and community services.
