The National Youth Assembly on Climate convened on Thursday, 11 April 2024, at the offices of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth (DCEDIY) in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC)
67 youth delegates aged 12-24 from across Ireland attended, representing youth organisations, Comhairle na nÓg and other interested organisations. Delegates produced nine key recommendations which are highlighted in this report.
The key recommendations from the Youth Assembly relate to the areas of education, engagement, and sustainable transport.
