The suite of actions in the Government's Civil Service Renewal Plan includes a commitment to undertake a programme of organisational capability reviews of all government departments.
The Review of the previous Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government (currently the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage) was carried out during 2019 by a Capability Review Team (CRT) from the Reform and Delivery Office, based at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
The following is the final report of the Organisational Capability Review (OCR) for the Department.
