This is an appeal against a single member decision made on [ ] [ ] refusing the application as late. The application was somewhat late and the Appellant said she had applied on time but that her papers had been lost. The Tribunal is satisfied in all the circumstances that exceptional treatment is justified pursuant to paragraph 21 of the General Scheme and will allow the appeal.
The Appellant suffered injury on [ ] in an assault at [ ] by a [ ] who became violent as [ ] [ ] for which assault the offender was prosecuted and convicted.
The Tribunal admits the claim in full and awards €941.25 in vouched out-of-pocket expenses as claimed.
