The Assistant Secretary General with responsibility for Domestic and Indirect Tax policy is responsible for taxation policy at domestic level in areas such as personal tax, indirect tax, property taxes and capital taxes.
In relation to taxation, the Assistant Secretary General is also responsible for policy analysis and advice, tax policy changes in the annual Budget, as well as drafting and preparing legislation, including the Finance Bill.
