The Chief Operations Officer is head of the Corporate Operations Office, the role of which is to manage and continually improve the Department’s Minister, Ministers of State and Secretary General offices; drive collaboration, innovation and strong communications with respect to the internal processes and structures of the Department; lead on information management, business and strategic planning; deliver business process improvements; coordinate engagement on parliamentary affairs and freedom of information issues.
