Operators must have permission to provide passenger services at a State-owned Fishery Harbour Centre. The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has overall responsibility for the development of infrastructure at the Fishery Harbour Centres.
The six Fishery Harbour Centres are:
These harbours are managed and operated by the State to promote sea fishing and related industries as well as other economic and social development including leisure facilities.
As part of the application for passenger services you must provide full details of proposed passenger operations.

The details of any proposed service must be agreed with the fishery harbour centre concerned.
