The Turkish Government are offering 5 Scholarships to Irish students at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.
Türkiye Scholarships is a government-funded, competitive scholarship program, awarded to outstanding students and researchers to pursue full-time or short-term programmes at the top universities in Türkiye for a period of one year.
The Turkish Government provides living expense, university fees, accommodation, health insurance, Turkish language course and return airfare.

Some departments and programmes may require additional criteria to be met by the applicants. For additional requirements, please check department websites and the online application page.
Undergraduate Scholarship Programme specifically designed for undergraduate applicants. Applicants interested in designated courses from engineering to health sciences, from humanities to social sciences may apply for this program. Minimum level of academic achievement required: 70%. A wide range of programmes across social sciences, humanities, natural sciences and engineering at Master’s and PhD levels are offered at prestigious Turkish universities. Minimum level of academic achievement required: 75%. For available departments and universities please check the website.
Applications should be made online by 28th of March, 2024.
Applicants are required to upload their identification, transcripts and diploma documents. This will generate a reference number which should be emailed along with your full name, contact details, level you wish to study at and the name of the government institution you are working in (if applicable) to the embassy.dublin@mfa.gov.tr , cc-ing scholarships@dfheris.gov.ie .
Applications will be assessed on the basis of academic success, extra-curricular activities and other professional credentials.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by an interview committee including academicians and experts.
Interview results of applicants nominated by the interview committees are evaluated by a selection committee and a list of applicants to be awarded a scholarship is formed.
