Assigned responsibility at Assistant Secretary level for managing the performance of those functions related to (valuation and surveying set out in the Valuation Act 2001, the Boundary Survey Act 1854, the Boundaries of Land (Ireland) Act 1857 and the Boundaries (Ireland) Act 1859;
Assigned responsibility at Assistant Secretary level for providing up to date valuations of commercial and industrial properties to ratepayers and to rating authorities, delivery of the national revaluation programme, delivery of a programme of ongoing revision of existing rateable valuations.
As acting Chief Boundary Surveyor, is responsible for advising on the fixing of maritime and international boundaries and for the exercise of functions under the Boundary Survey (Ireland) Acts 1854 to 1859.
Designated Public Official under the regulation of Lobbying Act 2015.
A member of the Management Board of Tailte Éireann.
