Head of Governance, Compliance and Excellence

Assigned responsibility as Head of Governance, Compliance and Excellence at Principal Officer standard level for the overall management and implementation of:

• Tailte Eireann’s compliance framework, including the application of Tailte Eireann’s Corporate Governance Framework;
• Tailte Eireann’s Quality Management Framework
• Information governance including data governance, open data, data stewardship role with data collaboration partners, Public service data strategy, data protection and data sharing;
• Decision / policy making on new use cases e.g. unusual / bulk data requests in consultation Head of CAI as required
• Development of TE Data Strategy
• Development of Data Sharing Agreements with public bodies under Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019
• Tailte Eireann’s Public Sector duty compliance
• Customer experience review role
• Management and promotion of the Registry of Deeds archives.
• Policy formulation and oversight around specific compliance issues including counter fraud and Anti-Money laundering initiatives and protected disclosures.
