The Proposed Variation seeks to introduce new policy provisions which reflect contemporary and dynamic trends in the tourism accommodation sector, supports the on-going significant public investment in tourism infrastructure and broader public/private tourism initiatives, and which protects and enhances the sustainability of existing settlements while safeguarding the natural, built and cultural landscape of Waterford.
