Irish delegation to COP30 Overflow Badge Accreditation Application Form

The Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment (DCEE) will be accepting expressions of interest from 15 July to apply for an overflow delegation badge to attend the Conference of Parties Climate Change Conference (COP30), which will take place from 10 to 21 November 2025.

DCEE will issue a limited number of overflow delegation badges. Applications are due by 07 September 2025.

Attendees would be responsible for all associated travel costs and expenses to attend COP30 if offered an overflow badge. Additionally, those selected to receive a badge would be responsible for securing their own visas (the UNFCCC provides a link post registration), meeting all requirements set by the COP30 organisers and the host country and for submitting any information that organisers request to register recipients such as passport information.

Applicants will be informed of the assignment of badges by the end of September.

Please Note:

By applying for an overflow badge and providing the requested information you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of assessing your application and obtaining the overflow badge etc. The Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment (DCEE) fully respects your right to privacy. Any information, which you submit via DCEE's application webpage will be treated with the highest possible standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
