Audit Committee Annual Report 2016

As Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Department of Finance, I am pleased to present the Committee’s annual report for 2016. The Committee works closely with the Internal Audit Unit and I wish to acknowledge the valuable contribution of that unit. The Committee is an important part of the overall control assurance framework within the Department and this report reviews the work of the Committee in 2016 and outlines the manner in which the Committee has sought to deliver on its key governance and assurance functions.
