Responsibility at Principal level for advice on sectoral policy issues and for oversight and management of expenditure in - the Justice and Defence Vote Groups, with a particular emphasis on the Department’s role as a stakeholder in the ongoing reform programmes across both sectors (including the Report of the Commission on the Future of Policing in Ireland, and next steps on the Commission on the Defence Forces Report).
