Data Sharing Agreement for Emergency Travel Certificates (ETCs) Data - DFAHSE 003_220628

The Department of Foreign Affairs have entered into a Data Sharing Agreement under the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 with the Health Service Executive for the purpose of providing the signed undertaking, received by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in the course of an Emergency Travel Certificate (ETC) Application, to the Health Service Executive where a child has been born overseas via international surrogacy.

This Data Sharing Agreement covers sharing of Personal Data in the form of providing the signed undertaking to the Health Service Executive to assist it in the providing healthcare services that may be required by children born through international surrogacy once they arrive in Ireland.
