Darren Murray

Darren Murray was appointed Chief Information Officer/Assistant Secretary General in April 2023, with responsibility for the department’s wide ranging and critically important Information and Communication Technology (ICT) portfolio.

Prior to this appointment, Darren worked in the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), and most recently had responsibility for Digital Transformation and Governance. Darren has over 28 years of experience working in various ICT and Data Protection roles in DAFM.
