Sustainable Development Goals: Voluntary National Review 2018

Ireland's first Voluntary National Review (VNR) report was approved by government on 6 June 2018. The report was presented to the UN High-level Political Forum (HLPF) in July 2018. The VNR considers Ireland's performance against each of the 17 SDGs and, includes a statistical annex using Eurostat indicators.

The report was prepared by the Department with contributions and inputs from all other government departments through the SDG Interdepartmental Working Group and SDG Senior Officials' Group process.

The Department conducted a stakeholder consultation workshop on 14 May 2018, at which elements of the draft VNR were presented to representatives of civil society, the private sector, the agricultural sector, academia, among others.
